The sofa that turns people to mush!
I'm at Muji! Japanese household & consumer goods store! 🇯🇵
I'm sitting in a State-of-the-art bean bag which has the reputation "the sofa that turns people to mush," and it's selling a lot in Japan. Aaaaaaaa, it does feel so good. The library of my old high school had a few bean bags and students loved them. Wow, this bean bag is even better than that. I'm really turning to mush....
Well, sadly there is nowhere to put it in my small apartment. I'll reconsider if I move to a bigger place.

Got some furniture!
I found nice, used and starving-artists-friendlily priced Ikea’s sofa bed and a couple of bookshelves over Craig’s List. I rented a van from U-haul and just picked them up and brought them into my apartment by myself. Ha-ha-ha! I used to make living doing mover and handyman stuff. The bed was 82 lbs and the bookshelves are 66 lbs each. Ha! I'm so proud that I can still do this kinda stuff!
Right-O, I can finally organize piles and piles of books. Now I must find a car!

My stuff finally arrived.
My stuff that I sent from Boston arrived today finally. The movers promised me to deliver it in 7 days but might take 21 days for the worst case of the scenario, but to end up with, it took 33 days. Oh well, I have had a bad feeling since they came to pick up my stuff to my apartment in Boston 10 hours late. Even today, the movers came to deliver 8 hours late, but that neither surprised me nor disappeared me anymore. I should feel happy that all of my instruments are unharmed. That is the most important factor.
I realized that I have much smaller room now and there is no way all my stuff is going to fit in in my room. Mmm, as a (ex-)master of Tetris, I should be able to make this impossible task possible. But how? Mmmmmm.....
Well, I need to relax before organizing the plan very carefully, so I'm having an ice cream! 🍦 Bon appetite! 😆👍

New Apartment!
Moved into the new apartment! I have no furniture, no food, nothing, so I'll go get them one by one. First, I need to get toilet papers!

Sayonara, Boston...
Phew, I almost cried when I saw the buildings of Downtown Boston while I was riding on the shuttle bus to Airport.
It's been a year since I moved back to Boston. One year had passed so quickly with the speed of light. I blinked and one year was gone. Oh well. What're you gonna do?
In LA, I will be a different person. I know so. This is the first time in a long time that I am so determined to do what I love. It's like when I decided to become a musician when I was eighteen.
Friends in Boston and New York, thank you very very much for everything for the last 21 years. Please come and visit me in LA.
Everyone, be well! See you again soon! 👋😄

Leaving my Boston apartment, and going to Vermont Tour!
Top of the morning to all of my friends. I was waiting for the movers to come yesterday. They promised to come at 12 noon, but what time do you think they came? 10pm at night! Aaaaargh! In Tokyo, where I am from, the trains are scheduled to which hour, which minute and to which second, and if a train runs late for more than 30 seconds, they’ll announce that the train will be “late.” There is a saying “time is money,” because time is as precious as money, but in this modern day society, time is more important and valuable than money! Aaaaargh!
Anyhow, it happened last night which is an ancient history. I’m about to leave for a four-day Vermont tour. I am sure that the heart with the dark big tornados whirling strongly in a bleak and desolate wilderness is going to be cleansed by the clear air and beautiful nature in Vermont. Well, I hope so.

Big Announcement!
Hello friends,
I want to make an announcement. I have been planning on moving to LA for one year and I am going to carry out that plan on October 3rd.
Boston is a great place. I have all the connections in here and I have job in here. The apartment I live right now is the best place I have ever lived in my life. So why am I moving? For the style of music, for the kind of job I want to take, LA is the best place. I have to work my butts off and maybe I won't get anything but, in the end, I believe it's worth the risk. I live dangerously, you know.
Friends in Boston & New York, thanks a million for the last two decades. Friends in LA, the storm is coming. Bwa- ha-ha.
