Christmas Carol Train Tour

　ギグも終わり、ニューヨークへ帰ろうとボストンのサウス・ステーションに行くと、見慣れないラッピング車両が止まっており、しかも家族連れの人達がズラッと列に並んでいました。新作のディズニー映画『クリスマス・キャロル』の宣伝らしいのですが、中は全て映画にちなんだ物で飾られてあり、一種のアトラクションになっているようです。電車を丸ごと改造してアメリカ各地に宣伝に行っているらしいのですが、うーむ、さすがアメリカ、やる事がデカいっすね。もちろん、これにオッサン一人で入る度胸もなく、待ちが１時間とかってプラカードも出てたので、私は当然のごとく乗らずに、さっさとニューヨークに帰ってしまいました。後からこの『クリスマス・キャロル』のホームページを調べて、車両の中の様子を見てビックリ。ウワッ、メッチャ面白そうだったやないですか。私、こういうアトラクションの類いって大好きなんですよね。でも、やっぱりどう考えても、あの家族連れの長蛇の列に、一人じゃ並べんかったよなぁ…………

After the gig, I went to Boston South Station to head back to NYC and saw the train with wrap advertising and whole bunch of people with kids queued up. It looked like the advertising for the Disney's new film "Christmas Carol" and I guess there were all kinds of interesting attraction inside like one of those in Disney Land. I love those attractions but this 35-year-old was too shy to go just by myself into this family event. I checked out the web site later and, sure enough, it looked fun. Oh well.....
