To the next gig

　図書館でのギグが終わり、楽器をバンドリーダーの一雄さんに預かってもらって、タキシードに着替え、私は一人、吹雪の中をエレキベースを肩に、次のギグへと旅立ったのでございました。もう時間がなさすぎ！それに雪降り過ぎ！雪に覆われて真っ白なプラットフォームからローカル線に乗りこみ、高速バスの停留所に向かいます。ほんの４駅ほど進む間にさらに吹雪はひどくなり、電車から降りた時は風でまっすぐに歩けないような状況でした。腹がメチャクチャ減っていた私は、高速バスにを待つ間に、吹きざらしのバス停で、人よりも面積が広い顔面で雪をビシビシと受けながら、根性でマクドナルドで買ってきたダブルチーズバーガーを喰らいました。たびたび思うけど、ミュージシャンって肉体労働だよね。

　なんでこういう忙しい日に限って大吹雪なんじゃい！

Right after the gig at the library, I put my tux on, left my equipments to Kazuo the band leader, grabbed my electric bass and jumped out in the snow storm to go to the next gig. I got on to the train from the snow-covered platform, and while train passed four stations, the storm got even worse and I could not walk straight when I got off to connect to the highway bus. I was so starving so I fed myself with McDonald's double cheese burger at the bus stop, getting tons of snow flakes blown right at my wider-area-than-normal-people face.

Why is it snow storming on such a super busy day!!
