I shaved my head!!
Well, I took a normal photo too but I couldn’t resist to put this one on my blog.
I woke up this morning light headed…. physically speaking! Ha-ha-ha!! I just wanted to find out how long I had had long hair for, so I looked through old photos of mine. It looks like I had kept my hair long since 2008, so I had had long hair for eight years!. I feel really good that I shaved my head, and at the same time I remembered that the shape of my head was not so great. Nothing I can do about it and I don’t care as much as I did when I was in high school.
I don’t think I’ll ever have a long hair, to tell the truth that many hairs left for me. With this shaved head, I’ll try to look like Bruce Willis or Samuel L. Jackson!

Boston Center for the Arts!
I played at Boston Center for the Arts yesterday. Oh yes, I love this kind of old buildings. The nerdy side of me loved this huge dome made with brick and steel! This is so steampunk! I loved the ceilings especially!
The hall I played was the center of the big historic building and there are restaurants and performing arts school in the same building. I used to play almost every week at the restaurant on the right of the hall, and I was also in the pit orchestra at the theater on the left. Ah, time flies.

iPad on rehearsal!
I was rehearsing using my iPad. I've been taking full advantage of iPad in my everyday life and I am loving it, but I've been thinking maybe what I shouldn't be thinking.
For rehearsals and gigs, I think I should have gotten bigger 12.9-inch instead of this smaller 9.7-inch. Mmm, am I just seeing the greener grass on the other side of the fence?

deCordova Museum
I performed at deCordova Modern Art Museum. Interesting place. All the sculptures and art works are so avant-garde and quite different. Let’s put this way, artists are creating really freely and I liked them. Well, when I was young, I mistook that everyone would think me as an idiot if a modern day musician like me wouldn’t understand avant-garde, so I was pretending I fully understood avant-garde. I am now in my 40s and I can say I don’t understand what I don’t understand. Ha-ha-ha. At the same time, I like their craziness and weird-ness and those all unedited raw passions.

Band rehearsal!
Rehearsal at JamSpot, the rehearsal studio in Boston. I haven’t been here for a year. There used to be a funny guy who speaks Japanese fluently but he was not there. Oh well, I wanted to see him after such a long time.
