International String Trio in Andover, Massachusetts

We went to a nice Italian restaurant before the gig and we all had killing lasagna, then our day continued to another gig in Andover. I am sorry but I forgot to take any other photos because I got the bug which everybody had got and was so crooked.

I had a wedding gig in Danvers, Massachusetts with International String Trio. The chapel is actually a part of a private prep school and it was a great chapel.

Video-shoot in Brooklyn

I had a video-shoot with Cody's band "Bon Musique." The video came out pretty good! The video was shot at a pub in Brooklyn and the atmosphere of the place was the theme of 1920s or 1930s. I loved the place. Please check out the video on the site below.

Enrique Haneine Trio @ CSV Center

There was a quite big event called “Makin' Music NY” here in all five boroughs of the New York City and literally hundreds of bands playing live in everywhere. We participated in the event and played Avant-garde jazz at CSV center in SoHo.

Sending Yutaka off to Canada

I was so kind to take one of my friends to Newark airport on 6am. I don't think there is anybody who is kinder than me in the world.

International String Trio in South Yarmouth

We came to South Yarmouth in Cape Cod. As you can see, the beach is wide and just beautiful. The wedding ceremony was held on this gorgeous beach.

Recording with Cody and Hara for the video-shoot on the week after.

Sarina Suno Quartet @ The Groove

Live at the Groove. This is a good day to play funk. Usually funk is played with an electric bass but I like to play it with upright bass as well. It was a fun gig. I was so energized by this atmosphere of people and musicians grooving in the same wavelength.

Freakin' Chinatown Bus

On the way back to New York on a Chinatown Bus, some devastating thing had happened. About one hour after the bus left Boston, the inside of the bus was filled with the smell of burning rubber. The driver pulled over to the side of highway and found out one of the rear wheel had got puncture and, because the driver did not notice for quite a while, the tire was totally in rags. We got stuck. Only thing we could do was to wait for the next bus passes which was coming in one hour. Oh well, out of luck on that night. We waited for one hour and the next bus came and all the young people rushed in. I had to pull my bass out and put into the bus just came so it took me a while. Then I found out they are short of three seats and I, a young guy and a granma were left behind. Okay, for me and this poor young man, it was just our luck to be in pain for an hour longer, but, hey the kids who got on the bus, shouldn’t one of you give up a seat for the granma??

Of course nobody bloody cared and three of us waited for one more hour for the next bus. Oh what a night.

The wires of the tire were coming out from everywhere because the bus kept going even though the tire had got puncture. Now we know for sure this bus is not going anywhere.

International String Trio in Gloucester, Massachusetts

We came to Gloucester where almost impossible not to see great views. It was a wedding gig at the hotel right by the ocean. A floating pier was connected to the hotel with a wooden bridge and the wedding was held on there. That was a different set up. I liked it!
