I came to a Japanese grocery store in LA for the first time. OMG! It's so cheap in here! Much cheaper than New York or Boston!! It was worth moving just for this.
Ha-ha, I'm doing fine in here, and am still looking for an apartment. If you know anybody who is looking for a roommate in LA, let me know!
