I just made instant sweet red bean soup with rice cake which we Japanese usually eat on Kagami Biraki (January 11th) but I just had a head start! 😆 Carbs taste sooooo good! Sugar tastes even better!!!

This year’s resolution: I won’t eat sweet stuff. Well, I couldn’t keep it for a day! Ha-ha. 🤣🤣🤣

Jeon, Korean pancake!

Oh no….

I fell asleep last night at the desk and caught a cold. Oh well. The only thing I can do is to eat something nutritious.

So,

I made a super thick jeon (Korean pancake) with lots of veggies! Maybe it’s hard to see on the pic but the pancake is about 1.5 inch thick!

Aaaaaaa, nothing’s better than carbs when you are on low-carb diet! This is soooooo good! 😆😆😆

My worst nightmare...

OMG, this is what I've been afraid of that would happen someday. This IS the worst case of scenario...

I'm moving to my new apartment tomorrow and just found out my favorite Japanese beef bowl place, Yoshinoya, is literally right around corner. When I was a teenager, I was heavily hooked to their beef bowl along with lots of my buddies. It happened before, it can happen again. The beef bowl has full of carbs which means, if I get hooked again, I'll have to kiss my diet goodbye and the fat Ippei, who looks like Humpty Dumpty, will come back after two years of absence.

That cannot be happening. I am going to do my best to stay off of it.
