Sarina Suno Trio @ a birthday party

　そして２本目のギグです。１本目のギグが終わり、片付けるが早いかタクシーに飛び乗りました。傷心のベーシストを乗せたタクシーは一路３６丁目へ。

Now to the second gig. As soon as the first gig was done and we finished packing up, we caught a cab. The cab with a heartbroken bassist went up to the 36th Street.

　ユダヤ教の人の誕生日パーティーでした。うーむ、そうと言ってくれれば、クレズマーとかを用意して来たのに。しかもジャズバンドで雇われたのにダンス・ミュージックが欲しかったみたいですね。エレキベースとドラムマシーンを持って来たほうが良かったかな？

It was a Jewish birthday party. Hmm, if they told us before, we could have prepared some Klezmer tunes. We were hired as a jazz band but I think they wanted dance music like hip-hop. Perhaps I should have brought an elctric bass and a rhythm machine.
