International String Trio @ Chatham Bars Inn

　今日から三日間はマサチューセッツで仕事です。今朝は朝６時にニューヨークを出て、４時間運転してボストンに来ました。ボストンのサービスエリアに立ち寄ると、レッドソックスの松坂投手のＴシャツを着ている中学生ぐらいの白人の女の子がいました。こういうのを見ると、ボストンに戻って来たって気がしますね。
　ここで他のミュージシャンたちをピックアップして、さらに２時間離れたケープ・コッドという避暑地に向かいました。今日は結婚式のギグです。

I'll be in the State of Massachusetts for next three days. I left New York around 6pm and came to Boston after four hours of driving. I stopped by at a service area in Boston and saw a middle-school girl wearing the T-shirts of Matsuzaka the pitcher of Red Sox. I feel I came back to Boston when I see this kind of thing.
I picked up other musicians and headed for Cape Cod which is another two hours away. It's a wedding gig today.

　今日はギグ自体は２時間だけで決して長いギグではなかったのですが、運転時間が異様に長い１日でした。全部合わせて９時間ほど運転しました。運転だけで疲れきってしまいました。

The gig itself was only two hours so it was not a long gig but I drove nine hours total today. I was so whipped because of that.

カニ目線の海岸 The beach from the crab's point of view

なんとはなしに、ちょっと気に入ってしまったウェディングケーキ。海の家らしく、本物の貝殻があしらってありました。 I don't know why but I kind of like this ocean-themed wedding cake. Some of the shells on the cake were real ones.
