インターナショナル・ストリング・トリオでニューヨーク州ニュー・ロシェルで結婚式のギグです。日本のJRで一昔前に使われていたイオカードのように、ニューヨークにもメトロカードっていうプリペイドの乗車カードがあるのですが、ブロンクスのさらに上のニュー・ロシェルでも使える事が今日わかりました。ブルックリンの下の方にある私のアパートからここまで２ドル２５セントで来れてしまいましたよ。はっはっは。
I came to New Rochelle, New York for a wedding gig with International String Trio. In New York City, there is a subway/bus ticket called MetroCard and you can use it for both subway and buses plus you can transit in between. I did not know that I could use it in New Rochelle which is even further north of Bronx. I could come here from the bottom of Brooklyn where my apartment is with the knockdown price of $2.25. Ha-ha.
