Hayashi Rice

 ニューヨークに帰って来て1日目、冷蔵庫の中がほぼスッカラカンだったので、ササっと買い物をして、具だくさんのハヤシライスを作ることにしました。今日は大成功でございます。ほーっほっほっほ!でも、まあ次はニンジンをもっと小さめに切って、肉も薄めに切るか、もっと煮込まなくてはいけないかもしれませんね。赤ワインを使っていれば、もっと芳醇な味に仕上がっていました。面倒がらずに赤ワインを買いに行けば良かった。今回、カシューナッツを入れてみたのですが、これは成功でした。今度はトマトも入れるかな。

 こういうのって凝り出すとキリがないですね。まあ、楽しんで冒険しながら料理をしています。ほっほっほ。

The first day after I came back to New York. I had almost nothing in the fridge and there was a vast vacant lot in there so I went to grocery shopping. When I came back with a mountain of groceries I ran out space in the fridge, so I decided to make a big pot of hayashi rice which looks like curry and we eat like curry but it is much different in taste. That was another successful operation. All the groceries went into the fridge and the hayashi rice I made was so good. Ha-ha.
