　今日はハラと二人で曲のおさらいをやってからギグに来ました。アメリカは明日から感謝祭の４連休なので、今日は店にお客さんはそんなに来ないだろうなぁとふんでおりました。ボストンとかですと、けっこう街中から閑古鳥の鳴き声が大合唱で聞こえるような日なのでございますよ。ところがどっこい、マンハッタンはイースト・ビレッジにあるこの店は、いつにも況しての大盛況でございました。たぶんバケーションでニューヨークに来てる人がいっぱいいたのだと思います。

I went the gig after I had a bit of rehearsal with Hara. Today is the day before Thanksgiving in the US and usually is a slow day because people leaves for vacation. So-called college town like Boston, the whole city becomes a ghost town for a few days. Contrary to my prediction, we had a full house. I guess lots of people left for vacation to New York.

このバンド、最近ラテン色とブラジリアン色が、より色濃く出てきたような気がします。私もちゃんと勉強し直して、それなりのベースラインを用意しておかないとなぁ、と思います。パーカッションだったら、こういう音楽ばっかり練習してるんですけどね。

Nowadays I think the band is leaning towards to Latin and Brazilian much more than before. I have to restudy those styles again and make thorough preparations for the next concert. Well, with my percussion, those styles are almost only thing I have been practicing though.

今日も大忙しのサリナちゃん。他のギグを１本終えてからこのギグに来て、これからまた夜中（というか明け方）までギグが２本あるそうです。計４本。すご過ぎです。このギグが終わった直後にエレキ・バイオリンとアコースティック・バイオリンの二本を肩にして、次のギグへと旅立って行きました。サリナちゃん、いつか倒れちゃうよ…………。 Sarina is busy as hell as usual. She came from another gig to this restaurant gig then she has two more gigs till the small hours --- well, till the daybreak really. She rushed out to the next gig with both electric and acoustic violins on her shoulders. Sarina, take care of yourself....
