そしてFDRという高速道路にのると、なぜかバイクの群れが！しかも長い！数マイルにも及ぶバイクの行列がFDRを南へと、ばく進して行きます。Soon after I got onto the FDR heading north for the gig, I saw literary miles of the parade of motorcycles going towards opposite direction.
調べてみると、今月は『全国バイク安全月間』だそうで、もしかしたら、それに伴ったパレードだと思われるのですが、確かではありません。ネットでけっこう探したのですが、結局なんだったのか分からずじまいでした。うーむ、なんだったんだろう。すんごい気になります。I was wondering what the parade was for and searching on the internet. Only thing I could find was that this month happens to be The National Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, so I think that parade --- the fastest parade I've ever seen --- somehow conjunct with that. I'm only guessing though. Mmmm? What was it? I'm still trying to find out.
